  • Saddler's Woods 250 Macarthur Boulevard Haddon Township, NJ, 08108 United States

Saddler’s Woods is a 25 acre urban forest located in Haddon Township, New Jersey. Saddler’s Woods surrounds a headwater spring of the main branch of the Newton Creek, a tributary of the Delaware River in Camden County, and is unique for its combined features of an old-growth forest, young woodlands, a meadow, and wetlands – all located within five miles of Philadelphia.

This walk will cover the emerging signs of spring, with a special focus on spring wildflowers.

Seasonal botanical tours are led by Saddler’s Woods Conservation Association (SWCA) Director of Forest Management Robyn A. Jeney. Tours are approximately 1.5 to 2 hours on maintained trails.

There is a $2 fee per attendee. Preregistration and prepayment of fee is appreciated, but walk-ups and day-of fee payment are accepted. Please call (856) 869-7372 or email robyn@saddlerswoods.org for preregistration or more information.
