Join us to learn how to turn a 55 gallon recycled food-grade plastic barrel into a rain barrel to collect water for your garden from your home's downspouts.
In addition to step-by-step instructions, we'll provide barrels, faucets, hardware, caulking, and use of a jigsaw, drill, channel lock pliers, adjustable wrenches, and screwdrivers. Bring safety glasses and, if preferred, your own set of tools.
Barrels are approximately 24" x 35", so please plan accordingly to get them home after the workshop.
Cost per barrel: $45 for SWCA members. $55 for non-members. (maximum 10 participants)
SWCA members apply discount code "member" during checkout for $10 off.
